MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK in Tooele, Ut. will host the NASCAR GRAND NATIONAL WEST SERIES today. The massive road course complex is located just 30 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. During it’s first full season, last year, MMP hosted the AMERICAN LEMANS SERIES, ROLEX SPORTS CARS, AMA SUPERBIKES, SCCA and many club events. The complex has road courses that can be configured in several ways. today, they will use the long course, about 3.2 miles in length. Also on site, there are 2 different go cart tracks. The facility is state of the art with hospitality suites, a large paddock area. You can book a day at the track to thrash one of a fleet of Mustang GTs or go carting.
Grumpy and friends will be out there in the heat of the day. Weather guessers say it will be 100 or more. Last year, the American Lemans series race was held in July and the temps sizzled at 109.
