For the second week in a row, rain washed out the qualifying session. NA$CAR will set the cup field by owner points as they did at Richmond last week. This could be good and bad news. The good news is, all the chase contenders will start up front and have the best pit selection. The bad news is, well they will still race in New Hampshire for the first event of the Chase.

The announcement was officially made at New Hampshire; UPS will move the brown truck from Michael Waltrip Racing over to the Roush-Sox garage to sponsor the #6 and David Ragan, beginning with the ‘09 season. UPS made no secret that they were shopping the package to other teams. Ragen just missed the chance to make the Chase this year. Currently, he sits in 14th place. You can bet that Jack Roush will get a bigger check from UPS than Mikey did.
