CMT’s production; DALE is a hit. This might be old news to many who have seen it in theatres around the country. As the unabashed Dale Earnhardt fan, I was eager to get my first view on CMT. I was not disappointed. To the dedicated Earnhardt fan, you must see it. If you are like the Grumpy3fan, you must own it. They call it a movie. I guess, like ‘March of the Penguins’. Paul Newman tells the story of our hero with lots of video highlights, outakes and some photos not seen before. If you missed the August 4th showing, it will be run again August 5th, 8pm eastern.
Grumpy is out of his league as a movie critic. Some may think the part covering his death was sappy or overdone. The part that held me the most was how he lived. Unforgettable moments frozen in time, clips from network broadcasts, interviews. Great scenes from the past. Too many to mention here. Trust me on this one, just see it.
